About the Game
Letter Boxed is a game from The New York Times in which players make words by connecting letters from different sides of a four sided box, hence the name. The objective is to create words using all of the letters available.
Rules of the game: (1)
- Connect letters to spell words.
- Words must be at least 3 letters long.
- Letters can be reused, but consecutive letters cannot be from the same side.
- The last letter of a word becomes the first letter of the next word (e.g. HERE > EVERY > YEAR).
- Words cannot be proper nouns or hyphenated.
About the Solver
This tool was created to help solve the NYT puzzles using a word list I found online. Unfortunately I could not find NYT's dictionary, so some of the words displayed by the solver might not always be valid. The solver also does not allow puzzle to have repeated letters, although the NYT Letter Boxed game does not explicitly state that, this was a restriction I added.
